Considering to learn all these new materials and softwares such as powerpoint or pages. Classroom assignments should be changed in my opinion. Many people are used to the "old school" way where we used pencils and papers.
There are cases where some people are especially strong in a certain subject but very weak on the other subject Even though it could be quite depressing that you don't understand the material, he or she could either have a tutor, or learn the weak subject by using examples from his or her strong intelligent part. Let's say for example one person is extremely intelligent in math and science but sucks at p.e. How could this young student improve his lack of skills in p.e? Though it maybe very hard for him, he would have to start from the scratch. When a student needs to graduate high school, he or she only needs a certain amount of credits. Though one can lack in a subject, he or she can prove him or herself to the college that I'm a freaking Einstein in science.
